Religious worker visa scam -- The Washington Times
What is he talking about... a fake visa program that lets people get into the USA under the guise of being needed to fill religious openings in mosques (and other religious institutions as well). I think the program needs to be shut down till we can plug the hole.
No one knows. Tom Ridge, are you listening? It's going to take more than duct tape and plastic sheeting to fix this problem.

I only wish I could come up with something, but I work out of my house and never venture much to 'secure' areas. Maybe you can send in one and I can win by association. Nah... have fun with it.
Human rights watchdog Privacy International has launched a quest to find the World's Most Stupid Security Measure.
The global competition will identify what the group describes as the most "pointless, intrusive, annoying and self-serving" security measures.
The "Stupid Security" award aims to highlight the absurdities of the security industry. Privacy International's director, Simon Davies, said his group has taken the initiative because of "innumerable" security initiatives around the world that had absolutely no genuine security benefit.

FreeGuide TV Guide Amazing what these Brits will come up with. This is a little bit complicated to configure (takes a command line to do it but instructions are well written) but is fairly simple after that. I have gotten sick and tired of pop-up-under-over-around windows when I visit sites (no I will not use tools to shut them off, there may be a site that they need to be on). This program allows you to get a full listing of all the TV shows in your area. Free program, free listings, what is better than that. Set up for North America, Great Brittan and some other countires. Check it out.
[Pentagon researchers at work on personal data mining] This worries me! Does the government have the right to collect data on me to protect me. I have made decisions for my privacy, but in this one I have no decision. And who is going to safeguard the information so that it does not get used for bad things. I am not one to cry out "wolf" when some liberties are taken away, that is the price for living in a free society. I do question this extreme though.

Bible Inverse Scripture Memorization
Looking for a Bible Memorization program, look no further. For free the cost is right. and the only thing wrong with the program is that it assumes that you are telling the truth if you say you have memorized a verse. Of course, why would you lie if you were trying to memorize the Bible?

[CNN.com - Man requests Jesus for legal help - Feb. 11, 2003] You know, it is weird people like this that give Christians a bad name. Yes I know Jesus is alive today, but unless this man can produce Jesus in the flesh, he is a nut for trying to do it.

I have no desire for war, but it looks like Sadam Husain has not changed. Time to go in and do what we did not do 12 years ago. I find it interesting that people in Europe have forgotten what Hitler did. Let us not give this man the same extremes that we did Hitler.

[Tribnet.com - News/Local]Teacher apologizes for abortion discussion
Let me get his all straight. A teacher uses a classroom for 10 min to do a math problem about how many people were killed in the holocaust and in abortions, and calculate to the local pro football field. Now he has to apologize because abortion and the holocaust were off topic and controversial. We have sex education being taught as if there is no need to wait till you are married, satanic holidays (Holoween) celebrated, and Christian Holidays (Christmas, Easter) watered down (winter break or seasonal holidays, spring break), and the Lord know what else, but a man talks about abortion and asks the kids to calculate how many footall stadiums of babies we have killed, and he is wrong. Sigh...

Nice to know that there are people working on the problems of the world, high tech people, with low tech solutions.
Cambridge-AP -- While some of their classmates are working on sending a 15 million dollar rocket to Mars, a group of M-I-T students are working on a project with materials as simple as a clear plastic soda bottle.
Their goal: build a better water filter for $5 or less.
